Hotel Reservations

You are responsible for making your own hotel reservations.

EST is holding a block of sleeping rooms at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, New Orleans, LA for the nights of May 27-May 29, 2008 at the prevailing government rate, $131.00 (single or double) plus 13% ($17.03) taxes and a $2.00 occupancy tax per night. To make your reservations at the Ritz-Carlton, please call 800-826-8987 and inform the reservations agent that you are with the 4TC Collaboration Meeting.

For your convenience, online reservations can be made at www.ritzcarlton.com.  The registration code to get the group rate is MEEMEEM for King rooms and MEEMEEN for Double rooms. If you have any difficulties with specific accommodations, please contact Avonda P. Suggs at 301-588-6046. You will be asked for a credit card when making your reservations to guarantee your room.

The last day to make your reservations for a hotel room is: Wednesday, April 30, 2008.

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out is Noon. Please plan your travel accordingly.

Travel Arrangements

You are responsible for making your own travel arrangements.

We strongly urge you to make your arrangements early to obtain the lowest possible air fare.

To the Hotel: Ground Transportation Information

New Orleans International Airport (MSY) is approximately 20 minutes from the Ritz-Carlton hotel via taxi (estimated $29-one way fare).

Taxi cab service is available at or near the baggage claim area of the airport.

Shuttle Service is available at the airport baggage claim area. No reservations are required. The cost is $15.00 (one-way).

Reservations are required for pick-up at the hotel for a return trip to the airport. Advanced reservations (at least 48 hours) are required for accessible vehicles.
